Which Modules Need Extra Configuation?

Why do this?

Some modules need extra configuration before they can be enabled.

Attachment Module

The attachment module allows users to upload attachments to the server and link to those attachments for download. You must edit configuration files and set privileges on server folders before you can enable this module. See Step 4 Option 1 of the installation instruction.

Catalog Books Module

The books module can be used to link to a book, enbed the book cover and link to full text options. It also can be used to search your III OPAC. You must edit configuration files before you can enable this module. See Step 4 Option 3 for instruction. Note: This is an experimental module and may not work. The module can be used without the catalog search but the UI will still contain a search box for the catalog.

Course Reserve Module

The course reserve module can be used to search your III OPAC for course reserves. You must edit configuration files before you can enable this module. See Step 4 Option 3 for instruction. Note: This is an experimental module and may not work.

Image Manager

The image manager can be enabled to allow users to upload images and embed them in profiles and most modules. The image manager replaces the image embed tool within the WYSIWYG text editor. You must edit configuration files before you can enable this module. See Step 4 Option 2 for instruction. Note: See Upgrade instructions to upgrade to the image manager.

Multi-Media Widget Module

The Mult-media widget module is used to add 3rd party widgets. This module enables users to add code snippets that will render the widget. This module does not need any extra configuration but the implications of the module should be considered before enabling it.
